| | There was this message my father gave about a month ago. It was about renewed vision. Instead of giving up, or trying something else, or feeling helpless... you need renewed vision. You need a reminder of why you are doing what you are doing.
I need that.
It's fairly well-known that I like change. Some times its feels like more of curse than a blessing. But, I am having to refocus myself every morning it seems. Especially when I look through facebook and see pictures of peoples gardens; of furniture being refinished; of sunshine shining through the windows in their apartments in warmer parts of the country....
See, I love my apartment. I love that I walk to work and that we are saving so much money on only having 1 vehicle. I love that I only have a few rooms to clean rather than a huge home. Really - I do.
But, that doesn't stop me from looking forward to the day that I have a yard to mow, and a porch to sit on when its sunny outside, and a place to put old, refinished antiques. That will be fun.
So, I have to remind myself that it all happens in better timing than I can pick if I just am patient.
(So, I'll just dream... a lot... until then!)
